Scholarship Award Program

The Scholarship Award Program was created to recognize student-athletes whose contributions extend beyond the spotlight. While many full scholarships are awarded to standout stars, this program honors those who played essential supporting roles on their teams while maintaining strong academic performance.

This initiative encourages student-athletes to remain committed to both athletics and academics, with the ultimate goal of continuing their education at the collegiate level. The scholarship celebrates discipline, teamwork, and dedication—on the field and in the classroom.

To be eligible, students must have:

  • Earned two varsity letters in one sport, or

  • Earned at least one letter across two or more varsity sports

  • Not received a full athletic scholarship

  • Enrolled in a college or university following graduation

Funding & Impact

Scholarship funds are allocated annually by the Board of Directors through proceeds generated from community support, including donations, membership dues, Senior Showcase Games, and banquet events.

As funding allows, awards are distributed each year to deserving students. To date, the PAA Scholarship Program has awarded over $100,000 to students across Greenville County—many of whom have continued their education at in-state institutions.
